How do my employees/contacts get notifications to inform a visitor’s arrival?
You can choose to send an email or SMS or a Slack message when a visitor arrives. Further, you can prioritize the option by setting up rules to send a follow-up message or notification. This is done in case if employee or host does not reply to initial notification. If there is no response from contact for email, after 10-15 seconds, you can also send an SMS. Manage these via Employee Messaging Rules.
You can set “Backup Notifications” for other colleagues if the concerned contact is away.
Select ‘Other Contact’ under ‘Who’ drop-down.
