How can an employee receive an SMS notification informing the arrival of a visitor? OR Why didn’t my employee receive an SMS notification on a visitor’s arrival?

 
CoReceptionist offers three channels of visitor arrival notification-
Email, Slack, & SMS
 
Let’s see how to activate the SMS channel-
 
  • Under Manage Locations in Navigational Panel on the left, click on Employee Directory.
  • Here before you will appear a list of employees, and each has an “Edit” button, so click on it.
  • Next, the ‘Edit Contact’ window pops up.
  • Right next to Messaging Rules, there is ‘+’ click on it.
  • Once the channel is created, select SMS from the drop-down menu.
  • In the following tab add the mobile number of the employee and in the third tab, select Self from the drop-down menu.
  • Click ‘Save’, ‘Contact has been updated successfully’ this message appear in green at the top and now ‘Close

SMS Notification

The SMS notification is now active.

To enable SMS notification in the trial period, you have to enter your credit card details. Since deploying SMS services comes at a cost to us. We reserve this feature for the said reason. If you go to the ‘Plan and Billing’ page on your dashboard, select the plan you believe might work well for your office (you can change it any time) and complete your billing details. Please note that no money will be deducted during the trial period.
