Connect webhooks to Zapier or Make

Zapier and Make can receive webhooks and pass them to thousands of other apps — a spreadsheet, a chat message, a door controller. A native CoReceptionist app for Zapier is on the way; until then, use their webhook trigger.

1
Create the triggerIn Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook and copy the webhook URL it gives you. In Make, add a Webhooks → Custom webhook module and copy its address.
2
Add it in CoReceptionistOn Integrations → Webhooks choose Add webhook, paste the URL and choose the events. Leave photos and sensitive answers off unless the automation needs them.
3
Send a sampleChoose ⋮ → Send test event so Zapier or Make can learn the fields, such as data.visitor.full_name, data.host.email and data.visit.check_in_time.
4
Build the rest of the automationMap those fields into the next steps. Use a filter on type (visitor.checked_in, visitor.checked_out) or on data.visit.check_in_device.name to react to one event or one kiosk only.
TIPAutomation tools usually don't verify signatures. If the automation does anything sensitive, keep its webhook URL private and replace it if it leaks.
