Language problems and fixes
The picker is missing, text is still in English, or a translation is wrong.
1
No language picker on the kioskCheck that at least two languages are on in Settings → Languages, then run Device sync in kiosk admin mode. Make sure the kiosk app is up to date — the picker needs the latest version.
2
Some text is still in the original languageThat text isn’t translated yet. In Translations, filter by Missing and select Translate missing now, then sync the kiosk. NDAs also need approval before visitors see them.
3
A translation is wrongEdit it in Translations and save. Short labels such as “Check out” are the most likely to be mistranslated, because machine translation sees them without context.
4
My edits disappearedThey didn’t — edited lines are never overwritten. If the original changed, the line shows Original changed with your wording still in place.
5
A language disappeared mid-visitSomeone turned it off. The kiosk switches that visitor back to your default language.
6
Text doesn’t fit on screenSome languages run longer than English. Shorten the original or edit the translation.
