Turn on kiosk languages
Account Owners and Location Owners can change languages.
1
Open LanguagesIn the dashboard menu, go to Settings → Languages.
2
Pick the default languageChoose the language the kiosk starts in. Switching it uses the translations you already have — nothing is re-translated.
3
Check “Your text is written in”Set it to the language your welcome message, visitor types, questions and NDAs are actually written in (English unless you changed it). Change it only if you rewrite your text in another language: every translation is then redone and NDAs need approving again.
4
Choose extra languagesUnder Visitors can also choose, tick each language visitors may switch to, then select Save languages. Foyer starts translating your kiosk text straight away.
5
Update your kiosksKiosks pick up the change when the Welcome screen next appears, which happens after every check-in and check-out. To update one now, open kiosk admin mode (hold the company name or logo on the Welcome screen for 5 seconds) and tap Device sync.
6
Check the translationsScroll to Translations on the same page to review what was translated. Approve any NDA translations so visitors can read them in their language.
TIPTo stop offering a language, untick it and save. Kiosks drop it on their next sync, and anyone mid-visit in that language is switched back to the default.
